Amy Tan’s profile is very humble. Born to immigrant Chinese parents, she was prepared to be a doctor and a concert pianist by her parents. Ignoring the social and family pressure, Amy Tan created a niche for herself in the literary world. In this video presentation at TED 2008 , she talks about her perception of creativity. She combines paradoxes and logic to evolve her creative aptitudes.
