Matt Cutts have hinted at several places, interviews & at PubCon 2009 at Las Vegas that a website’s load time is now going to affect the Google Page Ranks. So far, Google had not paid attention to site’s loading time while assigning Google Page Rank, but with the new Caffeine search algorithm, websites that load faster will receive better ranking on Google Search engine.

Google also publishes updates on the Caffeine blog & has posted an interview with Mike McDonald on YouTube as well. Google has already started to roll out Caffeine in various data centers & its believed that by the time the holidays are over, Caffeine will be in full effect.

While many bloggers are technology savvy, most are not. But there are several easy ways to ensure that your website loads fast & you can implement several easy changes to improve your website or blog’s loading time.
