CEOs & Leaders speak on Blogging - Relationship Building with Blogs

More & more CEOs are now taking up blogging as a preferred means to reaching out & developing a personal relationship with their business associates, customers & employees. CEO could also provide insights into their organizations functioning & at the same time, open up to ideas from around the world to pour in - they might well be thinking of getting rid of the costly & less than effective “surveys” some day!

Having to won a blog is not simple either. Especially when it runs in the name of the CEO. The expectations are quite high & hence CEOs delegating the messaging part down the hierarchy to a group of public relations officers could spoil the game. 2008 Venture Finals - Solixia wins Wharton Business Plan Competition

Wharton organized Business Plan Competition announced the 2008 Venture winner to be Solixia . Brian Smith, the inventor of the technology, & his team mate Irene Susantio earned US $ 20,000 in cash & services. The team is still completing their second year MBA degree & wants to work full time on the Solixia technology in the future. Winning the prestigious Venture Finals helps them to socialize the technology & its potential market to woo financiers.

You see all these executives trying to sell so hard that they start inflicting both hard and soft injuries on themselves, their colleagues, peers, friends and these pressures to sell work its way into their homes. Families get impacted and over all, over a period of time, these executives lose their ability to think. Why would a saying that "you can sell ice to an eskimo" become such an epitome otherwise?
