There could be a few ways of getting into Forbes. And one of them is definitely Price. Burger King was mentioned in a Forbes newsletter today just because Burger King is selling the world’s costliest burger!

The burger costs about UK Lb 95 - that is about USD 185! Taste apart, the sheer price got Burger King a place in Forbes. It is also competing for the Guinness Book of World Records for being the costliest burger sold till now.

The Forbes article said that the burger was made by Burger King chef Mark Dowding. The burger, that looks like a regular whopper has ingredients from 7 countries, with Japanese Wagyu beef. The burger will be sold for only 2 days in the posh district of South Kensington in London. Till noon on Wednesday June 19th, Burger king sold about 50 of them.

The Burger King’s burger is competing for the Guinness Book of World Records for the priciest burger with American Double Truffle Burger which cost just 65 pounds ($127) in 1994. Profits from the sale of the burger will be donated to Help a London Child foundation to help abused & poor children.
