The Google BackUp Plan – Plan from Google Hate with BackUp Ad Plans
If you have started off good & nice with your online blog advertising, there is every possibility that Google will not like you. Unless you start off with Adwords & pay Google back.
Since no one apart from the core Google team members who designed the search algorithm (that includes the owners Sergey Brin & Larry Page), knows how Google could devalue your website, there is not much information for people who display Google ads to be sure that they will not be penalized.
So, it is in your best interest that you have backup advertising revenue plans.
There are quite a few advertisers that are very profitable for new bloggers. You could choose from CPC or CPM based advertising or you could go in for the higher paying shopping ads.
Choose the advertisers that:
- is easy to work with
- is transparent to tell you their business model & revenue sharing process
- has a forum or a help desk number that you can call for help
- pays you on time
- lets you know in advance if there are any changes to the payment schedules & advertising rules
Google is too big a company to look into the interest of the new bloggers. If you have noted, even when you are buying advertising through Adwords, Google will not provide you with a helpdesk number.
Anyone who is using Adwords & have faced problems have to communicate with AdSense Administrators via email – which is responded by an automatic email. Individuals & small business owners who have build their ad plans around Google are now stuck!
In one of my personal experience, Google started using up all my AdWords budget in non-US traffic. I found out that Google was giving my websites a high rank in searches that were originating outside US, whereas my content was specifically for the US readers!
Surprisingly, on US searches, Google was ranking my pages very low & was charging me over $ 1.50 at times for a single click. No individual or small business owner can survive that high CPC rate.
I suggest that when you build your ad revenue plan, look out for backups other than Google. That would help you keep earning even if Google decides to ignore you completely. My suggestion is backed by a lot of successful bloggers who have generated more revenue from smaller advertisers & affiliate marketing & never really bothered to advertise Google at all.
