McAfee provides a real time map of all virus detected & reported by computers across the world. The heat chart has 5 viewing options:

Global Virus Map - Worldwide real time virus heat chart

1. View - view all viruses or top 10 viruses

(a) All viruses or (b) One of the top 10 viruses

2. Track - trace viruses and / or files

(a) Infected Files (b) Infected Computers (c) Infected files / million citizens or (d) Infected computers / million citizens

3. Time Period - view reported viruses for a specific time period

(a) Past 24 hours (b) Past 7 days or (c) Past 30 days

4. Select Map - you could view a specific geographic continent or the entire world’s virus heat chart

(a) Worldwide (b) North America (c) South America (d) Europe (e) Asia (f) Africa (g) Australia (h) South-East Asia (i) North Europe (j) South Europe or (k) Middle East

5. Click Options - you could drill down into details shown on a map on clicking the display or align the chart in the window frame.

On choosing Statistics as the On Click option, you could see all the major viruses reported from the geographic region where you clicked. In this example, the viruses reported in North America for the past 30 days is shown in the pop-up chart.
